Other auto-makers who have had fires were also LG batteries, for the most part. GM isn’t the only victim of LG’s incompetence, but they are the largest in terms of vehicles on the road.
Just hoping to be rid of mine soon. I wish the ID.3 was in the US or that Tesla had a compact hatch, but I’ll land on something.

Recall is so big maybe they could plan a line at the factory to unmount and remount batteries in a semi-automated way.
Un-Lucky Goldstar really screwed this project up. They can pretty much write themselves out of the EV battery game.
I have an Ioniq EV, should I be concerned? I was under an impression that Ioniq and new Zoe both have use the same LG prismatic cells as the Bolt
I was downvoted multiple times for suggesting GM makes unreliable cars. It really sucks that this is a true statement but fuck GM, Chrysler, etc.
They need to go buy a Tesla , take it apart and copy done of the engineering from it.
Because clearly their botch building the bolts.
takata level messup?
Id get one cheap and get battery replaced under recall
Another Corvair? “Unsafe At Any Speed” ????
