First Electric vehicle Ive seen with its “fuel door” open. I intentionally called its “door” that. So, what would it be called? Charging door? Electrical Receptical access panel?

I’ve accidentally left my charging flap open on my smart fortwo multiple times. I never had a problem with a gas flap, I think it’s just because in a parking lot I don’t even consider why it would be open in the first place. No alerts in my car, the only tell would be it slapping shut when I get up to speed. Shame the Mach e doesn’t give a warning.
Zap Flap
Charge door
Charging port door
…Not sure if it’s called anything else.
Hopefully he won’t end up snapping it off.
My car alerts me when I leave it open, would’ve thought Ford would think of that if Kia can.
Use Tesla voice command and tell it to open or close “butthole” or “sphincter”. Both work great. Thanks, Elon!
Officially though it’s a charge port so that would be the charge port door. Evidently Ford let’s you drive with it open. Not very aerodynamic…
Tesla calls it the butthole
Curious, mine won’t even start if that’s open and display an alert “charging door open”
That hole where you put the wire thingy
Expensive enough car that an auto close door isn’t too much to ask.
Plug cover.
I’m surprise the driver has no warning. I would always forget to close the “door” on the Niro but that car knows how to notice me loudly!
He is trolling with his fly open
