@@redbuIIracingI understand your view but with AI and being able to fake voices, more proof is better and this camera literally has the perfect angle to spy on you. Yes your phone can do the same but it’s in your pocket. It’s one thing to hear something, and another to have a front row seat to it. It’s not about being paranoid, it’s about being smart….the risk outweighs the benefits.

@@davidsam9510 How does that make any sense? If companies wanted to spy on you they would do it without asking you for permission. Car or smartphone it doesn’t matter. And this camera in the ix2 is a dashcam. If you use dashcams from any other company you could face the same hypothetical issue of spying if you’re worried about these things.

How does using a third-party dashcam from any other company work any differently? Are they immune to being used for spying? I’d take the utility of a dashcam over paranoia of spying, which, with the amount of tech we use these days, I wouldn’t be able to stop even if I tried

It’s a dashcam. Good for recording accidents and crime. The selfie feature is just a bonus, a “why not” feature.
